Lorrie Foster, directora de desarrollo corporativo del International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) nos presentó las conclusiones del informe “El Estado Mundial de la Salud del Voluntariado Corporativo y una Agenda para el Futuro”. Este informe ha sido realizado por el equipo de investigación durante los tres años que han transcurrido desde el inicio de la pandemia. Este ha supuesto cambios sin precedentes en el ámbito del voluntariado corporativo, tanto en concepto como en práctica. Entre las tendencias destacadas se encuentra el surgimiento de una comunidad global de voluntarios corporativos. Además, se observa un notable incremento en la participación en el voluntariado virtual, una tendencia a un mayor enfoque en el voluntariado basado en habilidades, y el ascenso de empleados más jóvenes como una fuerza líder en el ámbito del voluntariado.

This report has been conducted by the research team over the three years that have passed since the beginning of the pandemic. This has brought about unprecedented changes in the field of corporate volunteering, both in concept and in practice. Among the highlighted trends is the emergence of a global community of corporate volunteers. In addition, there is a noticeable increase in participation in virtual volunteering, a trend towards a greater focus on skill-based volunteering, and the rise of younger employees as a leading force in the field of volunteering.
